2024 Monaco F1 Grand Prix

Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc finally took the top step of the podium during the eighth round of the Formula 1 season at Circuit de Monaco.

After 78 laps, Leclerc finished 7.152 seconds ahead of McLaren driver Oscar Piastri, and 7.585 seconds ahead of Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz. RedBull driver, current champion and 2023 Monaco Grand Prix winner, Max Verstappen, finished 13.8 seconds behind Leclerc crossing the line in sixth.

The 26-year-old ended a streak of 39 races without finishing on the podium as he became the first Monegasque to win the Monaco Grand Prix in 93 years. This was his first victory since the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix.
